In one of the most densely wooded areas in Germany, the forest and hunting are inextricably linked as everyday phenomena for people. This is how his idea for a >forest sculpture> came about: two simple high seats, which were made possible in the first place with the expert and active support of local hunters. In October 2019, two high seats were created in the forest near Laisa, standing directly opposite each other in mirror symmetry. Models and drawings continue the idea of contemplation and self-reflection with a series of “contemplative pulpits” (exhibition in Battenberg 2020).
